Contemporary Alaska Native Art - Exhibition

The Anchorage Museum is fortunate to have one of the most extensive collections of contemporary Alaska Native art in both traditional and non-traditional styles. Featuring the work of nationally known artists, Contemporary Alaska Native Art helps shape our perception of what it means to be Native in Alaska today and includes art by well-known Alaska artists like Jim Schoppert, John Hoover, Sonya Kelliher-Combs and Susie Silook. The sculptures, carvings, paintings and mixed media in this exhibition address spirituality, traditions, social issues, and a people's relationship with nature, animals and each other.

Adults $8
Seniors, Military, Students w/I.D. $7
Children 17 and under, free ($2 suggested donation).
