AmericanTowns Heroes: A Town Comes Together Aided by One Super Woman

When her town experienced the worst flooding in its history, she was there from day one, feeding people and finding places for them to stay. She set up a makeshift shelter, enlisted volunteers, coordinated donations and helped people deal with the clean up and restoration of their town. As the wife of a pastor and mother of four children, Krystie knows what it!s like to be busy. Her volunteer work came naturally to someone who is used to
coordinating numerous tasks to keep her family going, like hauling water from a well one mile away and cutting, stacking and carrying wood used to heat their home.
