Play theme for winter carnival emphasizes fun

“Play, Play the Homer Way” is the title and theme of this year's Winter Carnival, a welcome diversion to get out and enjoy the season's heavy snow bounty. Events begin Thursday and run through Sunday, offering school carnival fun for kids, museum events, races on Beluga Lake, music venues and even a Queen's Ball.
