Exhibition - Hoop Time - Gastineau Channel Basketball Through the Years

Opening in conjunction with the 63rd Gold Medal Basketball Tournament, this exhibition was inspired by an encompassing Juneau History Grant project compiled by the Basketball History Committee that documents the 50 year rivalry between Juneau and Douglas' basketball teams from 1903 to 1953.  The exhibit features both boys and girls teams, Gold Medal, memorable basketball stars, fans, mascots, uniforms through the years, and even Carlos Boozer’s shoes.

Exhibition Date: Continues through November 21, 2009

Tuesday-Saturday, 12am-4pm
