Depois de contratado, ele conhece seu chefe, o Dr. Esbern, que é um homem bastante "misterioso". O tempo passa, e Esbern dá uma nova tarefa á Cody, ele será ajudante em sua pesquisa na Biogenética. Ele é incumbido de ajudar no transporte de ampolas do laboratório. Cada ampola possui o material genético de um diferente animal, como leões, zebras, elefantes e até mesmo ursos. Ele decidiu perguntar ao Dr. Qual é o objetivo de sua experiência. Que respondeu: "Nosso projeto visa alterar genes de humanos com a introdução de DNA animal ou substituir uma sequência humana específica por seu equivalente em animais. Ou seja, podemos fazer com que humanos criem características físicas e psicológicas dos animais" Cody ficou pasmado, nunca iria imaginar que um clinica tão pequena podia estar envolvida com um projeto tão grande. O que o deixou mais chocado virai a seguir, Esbern pediu que ele fosse parte da experiência, como cobaia, e podia escolher seu animal favorito para se transformar um com ele. The course is through the Challenger Learning Center and takes place in the swimming pool at the High School in Kenai, Alaska using a Helicopter Underwater Egress Training (HUET) simulator. I highly recommend the training to anyone who is involved with over water aircraft operations. This training provides you good life saving lessons and is worth the time.

Terry Bookey of Kenai, Alaska, talks about tax credit program for home fire sprinklersrunning time:03:45 added by:nfpadotorg source: YouTubeTerry Bookey, a member of the Kenai, Alaska, City Council, talks with NFPA's Mike Hazell about a novel approach the city of Kenai has implemented to encourage the installation residential fire sprinklers in new homes. Mr. Bookey, who is active in a neighboring community's fire department and is a former Kenai firefighter, says he has too often seen the aftermath of tragic home fires. "I know devastation would be reduced if residential sprinkler systems were more widespread," he said. Mr. Bookey outlined a new Kenai program that provides a tax credit for the installation of residential sprinkler systems. Homeowners who install a sprinkler system in their home will receive a tax credit up to the total cost of the installation of the system, or two dollars per square foot for the size of their home, not including their garage. Based on statistical data from the previous five years of construction in the city of Kenai, Mr. Bookey expects that tax credit program to result in a reduced property tax revenue of to the city of about $50000 a year. "But much more important than the financial impacts is the fact that we're going to have an increased number of our citizens living in safer homes," he said. www.firesprinklerinitiative.org
