The Sitka Farmers Market is a public market established to provide the community of Sitka access to locally grown and harvested foods. Additional goals of the market are to provide a venue for education, entertainment, and building personal relationships for a healthier community.
Many local gardens have been started or expanded to provide the markets with fresh produce. Locally harvested seafood, locally made art/crafts and other products, live music, and prepared foods are also a big part of the Markets.
When and Where:
Markets are held at the ANB Hall, 235 Katlian Street on Saturdays: July 7, July 21, August 4, August 18, September 1, and September 15. Open from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. FREE admission.
