About Us :

Christians at the Adamsville Church of Christ believe in the God of the Bible. The Bible, the inspired word of God, is our only guide in what is taught and practiced.The Church of Christ in the 21st century is not a denomination, but a direct continuation of the Lord's church established in the 1st century on the Day of Pentecost.

Just as people in the first century became Christians upon obeying the Gospel of Jesus Christ, we at Adamsville are Christians only by obedience to the same gospel. Obedience to Christ's gospel consists of the following steps:

Hearing and learning the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Believing that Christ is the Son of God, he came to earth, died on a cross to pay the price of death for our sins, was resurrected, and is now reigning in Heaven. Repenting of one's sins, realizing disobedience to God's law and being determined to follow His teachings throughout life.

Confessing publicly that Jesus is the Son of the God, Being baptized for the remission of one's sins
Remaining faithful until death .
