As part of the Economic Stimulus Act of 2008, Fannie Mae&lquote;s limit on conforming loans has been temporarily raised from $417,000 to $729,750, effective in certain high cost metropolitan statistical areas (MSAs). The limits on these new “jumbo-conforming” mortgage loans differ from area to area and have been based on the MSA&lquote;s median home price, with the upper limit capped at $729,750. If the median home price is less than $417,000, the conforming loan limit remains unchanged.

Rate Discount indicates the amount of reduction in the Rate for having monthly payments automatically deducted from an account and/or for having other relationship accounts with the institution, expressed as a percentage.
