It's no secret that Alabamians take our sports – particularly football – pretty seriously. So it's no surprise that a new review of Equality in Athletics data from the U.S. Department of Education found that both Auburn University and the University of Alabama rank among the top 10 universities in the U.S. for athletic department expenses.
