Auto parts maker plans $14.6M expansion in Tuscaloosa County

A $14.6 million investment for an expansion and equipment is planned by automotive parts maker ZF Industries at its axle systems plant located in the Tuscaloosa County Airport Industrial Park. According to the Tuscaloosa News, the investment is related to new business ZF has received from Mercedes-Benz U.S. International in Vance. A statement released Wednesday said the work is expected to eventually create about 85 new jobs at ZF.
