Group claims to have hacked Alabama government sites

The group of hackers known as "Anonymous" claims to have breached government websites in Alabama and acquired personal information on 46,000 Alabama citizens. According to a release posted online, the group said it targeted the state's police and government servers because of Alabama's controversial immigration law. The group said it was able to acquire full names, Social Security numbers, license plate numbers and other information on thousands of Alabamians. Its release included redacted information
