REIT signs agreement to purchase Hilton Garden Inn for $11M

Summit Hotel Properties Inc. (NYSE: INN) has signed a purchase contract to buy the Hilton Garden Inn in Liberty Park. The South Dakota-based real estate investment trust signed the contract to purchase the 130-room property for $11.9 million, according to a press release. The purchase price includes planned improvements at the hotel. The completion of the acquisition is subject to lender approval and completion of due diligence.
