Red Mountain Theatre Company, formerly Summerfest Musical Theatre, is celebrating its 30th Anniversary Season with the world premiere of Tinyard Hill at the RMTC Cabaret Theatre (301 19th Street North).

An original production written by Troy University alum Tommy Newman and Samford University alum Mark Allen, Tinyard Hill is a coming of age narrative about a young man in the isolated farming community of Tinyard Hill, Georgia, who struggles to understand his place in a world that seems to be outgrowing his family and his dreams. See how a blossoming romance and an intensifying war cause a desperate conspiracy to be formed in this small town.

Tinyard Hill features Birmingham favorites Barry Austin, Tam DeBolt, Kristen Bowden Sharp and Samford alum Matthew J. Godfrey.

Produced In Association With Samford University And Troy University

The development of Tinyard Hill was partially funded by the National Alliance of Musical Theatre (NAMT) and Jamie deRoy and friends. This work was also presented at NAMT’s Festival of New Musicals in 2007.
