We believe that the mission statement of First Baptist Church Boaz is in accordance with God’s will. As a family of believers united in Christ, we must understand God’s mission and vision for First Baptist Boaz, adopt His mission and vision as our own and strive to make them reality. We will accomplish our mission by doing the following:

Maintaining Unity - We will develop Christian fellowship by nurturing , loving and sharing with one another. We will focus on the things we hold in common, namely our faith and blessings in Christ. We will honor and utilize individual differences and gifts.

Sharing Our Faith - We will go to our families, our community and all the world to proclaim the saving word of Christ.

Equipping Believers - We will help people reach Christian maturity by teaching God’s Word through various means and by helping them apply these teachings to their own lives.

Expressing Our Love to God - We will praise God through genuine, heartfelt worship, for who He is, for what He has done, for what He is doing, and for what He will do in our lives, both corporately and individually.

Expressing Our Love to All People - We will show Christ’s love by meeting the physical and spiritual needs of hurting people. We will share with others the blessings God has given us.

We believe if we are faithful to and promote each of these equally, people will come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ, grow to maturity in Him, become one in love for each other, meet the needs of hurting people, and give Him all the glory that is His alone.
