The rapidly growing Town of Brookwood is located in eastern Tuscaloosa County along Alabama State Highway 216 and Interstate 59-20. Located between metropolitan Birmingham and Tuscaloosa, it offers the better of two worlds...the hustle and bustle of large cities and the quiet rural setting of a small town.

Brookwood is nestled in the tree-covered foothills of the Appalachian Range. The countryside varies from flat to gently rolling hills and is near the Black Warrior River that winds its way to the Gulf of Mexico.
