Public Visitation and Viewing Hours for Mr. Boyd will be observed on Wednesday, May 23, 2012, between the hours of 10:00 AM and 6:00 PM. Funeral Services for the late Aaron Deran Boyd will be observed on Thursday, May 24, 2012, at 1:00 O'Clock PM, at the Midway Community Life Center, 4093 Highway 431, Wedowee, Alabama. Reverend Craig McClure will officiate. Burial will follow in the Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery, 820 Woodland Avenue, Wedowee, Alabama 36278. The Obituary Aaron Deran Boyd was born in Randolph County, Alabama on January 30, 1992 to the parentage of the former Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy and Stacy (Boyd) Clark. In the years after his birth, Aaron was blessed by the presence of Willie Battle in his life, who has served as a beloved step‐father. From the age of 2 years, Aaron attended the Helen Keller School of Alabama in Talladega, He was a senior looking forward to graduation. For the past two years, Aaron enjoyed working as a Cafeteria Assistant for Alabama Industries for the Blind (AIDB). He was affiliated with The AIDB Chapel, and despite challenges he enjoyed music, computers, dance, and pretty girls. He enjoyed singing rap music. Sunday, January 1, 2012 Sunny skies, temps in the 60s, and an all-EMD team running on the Birmingham side in the afternoon. Not a bad way to start off the New Year! Actually, this guy got out at the right time just as a tiny cloud blank was quickly moving off towards the southeast. In fact, I followed this train from my house over to Temple, where the sun was just breaking out of the mess. Since he had nothing to meet before Birmingham and it would be quick, I decided to go out to the S-curve at Fruithurst for a second capture. Temple, GA at 2:39PM Fruithurst, AL at 2:27PM (Central)

Best day of the year, catching the OCS! NS 955, dead heading to Mobile AL, which is gona return thuirsday. Thanks to many people for updates and good news, engineer Jeff Snow & his fam!, my bud Ben Chapman, Allan Williams, Chris Martin, Chris Rinker, my bud in NC K Poole and more. Railfanning in Irondale AL, & me and my buddy Josh heard they were leaving ATL at 4 30 Et. so we followed Amtrak 20 to Bremen, GA & waited on the OCS Since they were at Temple GA, & Followed this beauty all the way back home through the night.10 Shots: Bremen GA, Waco, GA, Tallapoosa ,GA, Fruithurst AL, Edwardsville AL, Heflin AL, Eastaboga AL. Darkness Falls! Leeds AL, Irondale AL, Bessemer AL & Wiltonn AL, on the 3B Division, where they re fueled before going to Selma to change crews and head south to Mobile AL.
