ABA Music Performance Assessment

High School bands present a program of symphonic and classical music before an audience and panel of judges for critique of their performance.

Bands are classed by enrollment size of the school and are evaluated within the classification. Bands typically will perform three selections within a period of time not to exceed twenty-five minutes, though at option, bands may perform only two selections. One selection must be from the cumulative list for the band’s classification or higher -  approx performance times are 9AM to 4PM each day of the event.
