About Us

Founded in 1963, The Arts Council (TAC) is a private, non-profit arts organization led by a 27 member board of directors and 8 professional staff. Our core programs include:

Arts in Education - providing resources and support to arts educators, giving children opportunities to grow, and working to strengthen K-12 education through the arts.

The Arts Council’s Mission

The Arts Council produces, promotes, coordinates, and advances the arts to enrich the quality of life, economic development, and education of the greater Huntsville/Madison County community.
