Bookbinding Survey
for adults and Seniors
Instructor: Wayne McNeil
Learn and appreciate the time honored skill of book binding in many of its most engaging forms. Basic book sewing skills will be addressed as well as folding, scoring, compiling, design and more complex stitches. Students will learn to construct the following books: Pamphlet, Accordion, Japanese Stab Binding, One-needle Coptic Binding over Tapes, Chinese Star Book, and possibly others as time allows. All tools and materials included in course fee. There are no prerequisites for this course.
