The mission of Hayneville Road Elementary School is to create a respectful, supportive, innovative, collaborative, and safe learning environment where instructional methods are incorporated to help students become competent and life long learners.

Beliefs

 Each child is unique, and has special abilities and individual learning styles that must be recognized and developed.

The education of all children is the shared responsibility of the home, school, and community.

The role of the teacher is to create/design challenging and engaging work for students and to lead them into academic achievement.

Parents should be encouraged to become involved in the educational process of their children.

A child’s ability to learn is affected by many outside influences.

Building character is an integral part of the education process. Students must be self-directed learners.
