Mother: Lillie Williams, Father Lon Williams who spend most of Hanks childhood in the hospital with stroke problems. 3. Hank wasborn with a mild undiagnosed case of Spina Bifida Occulta which caused him back pain all his life. 4. Moved frequently as a child all around Alabama. 5. In 1933 at 10 he went to live with his Aunt Opal who taught him guitar and became friends with his older cousin JC who taught him to drink Whiskey. 6. In 1934 He moved back to Georgian, Al with his Mom. He he met "Tee-Tot (Rufus Payne) a black blues musician who heavily influenced his music. 7. In 1937, at 14, he would sing and play his guitar outside WSFA Radio in Montgomery, Al till he finally got a contract for a twice a week 15 minute Radio Show. 8. 1937-1938: Hank used the Radio show to springboard his live performances. 9. 1939: Hank drops out of High School and starts the Drifting Cow-boys to back him. Toured a lot of Georgia and Florida playing. 10. 1941: Hank lost all his Drifting Cowboys to the draft in WWII. 11. 1942: WSFA Radio fired him due to habitual drunkenness. Roy Acuff told him: "You've got a million dollar voice, son, but a ten cent brain. 12. 1943 Hank married Audrey Shepard who also became his manager.
