Internet Explorer users: click pause before closing Radar Loop of the Cullman and Flat Rock EF4s April 27, 2011running time:00:35 added by:thewxmann source: YouTubeRadar (reflectivity) loop of the EF4 tornadoes that devastated portions of Cullman, Pisgah, Flat Rock (AL) and Trenton (GA) on April 27th 2011. The two tornadoes killed at least 19 people. Both EF4s were 1 mile wide at their peak and packed winds of 190 mph, at the high end of the EF4 range. For reference: Cullman was hit around 1956 GMT (2:56 PM CDT), Flat Rock around 2125 to 2129 GMT, and Trenton around 2139 UTC. The timestamps are in the upper right hand area (sorry I couldn't make them more clear). Note that the radar loop terminates at the end due to a radar outage, but the parent supercell continued producing many more tornadoes in TN including another EF4 in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park area.
