Christ Episcopal Church

Christ Church is the oldest Episcopal Church in the Diocese of Alabama and the oldest church building in Tuscaloosa. The legacy, rich history, and great mission of Christ Episcopal Church began on January 7, 1828, when it was organized by the Rev. Robert Davis, rector of Christ Church, Reading, Louisiana, and agent of the Domestic and Foreign Missionary Society of the Protestant Episcopal Church.
