Evergreen Baptist church was founded in 1914 when 13 believers covenanted together to begin the church.  They originally met at the old rock bluff school in Vance. in the fall of 1915 a building was construction the site of our old church location on Evergreen Baptist church road. A succession of buildings followed at that same location until a new facility was built at our new present day location on highway 11 north. Construction began in December of 2002 and continued through June of 2005. On June 26th, 2005, the congregation of Evergreen Baptist Church met for the last time at our old location on Evergreen Baptist Church Road. On that same Sunday morning, we walked together, as a church family, to our new building where we dedicated it to the lord.
