Fairview Baptist Church
Our Beliefs:
We believe in the Trinity of God, the verbal inspiration of the Bible as the inerrant and infallible Word of God, the deity of Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, His blood atonement, His bodily resurrection and His imminent, personal, visible, bodily return to the earth.
We believe in the reality of Heaven and Hell and that salvation is by grace through faith eternally secured by God.
We also believe in the local, visible church which was established by Jesus Christ during His ministry on earth and that Baptism and the Lord’s Supper are Her two ordinances.
We support missionaries around the world by cooperating with the Baptist Missionary Association of America.
Our History:
Fairview Baptist Church had its beginning as a mission arm of Beacon Baptist Church, 20th & Ash Street, of Blytheville, and became a project of the Baptist Missionary Association of Arkansas. The first service was held Sunday, June 1, 1969.
The mission organized into a New Testament Church on August 12, 1969, with 26 charter members.
Fairview Baptist Church has faithfully sought to impact the city of Blytheville and the surrounding areas with the Gospel of Jesus Christ for over thirty years. Many lives have been changed because of her faithfulness. Many more shall be.
