Monday, June 4,2012:
7:30pm Conducting Master Class and Open Rehearsal - Hot Springs Fieldhouse

Mendelssohn: Hebrides Overture (Carlos Espinosa, Assistant Conductor - coached by Peter Bay)

Mahler: Symphony No. 1 - select movements (conducted by Peter Bay)

This special event will feature the Festival Orchestra spread out on the floor of the Hot Springs Fieldhouse with audience seating In The Orchestra. Audiences will have the opportunity to witness a conducting masterclass from the musicians side of the podium and experience the power of Mahler’s monumental First Symphony from the inside!

A great opportunity for aspiring musicians and appreciative audiences alike, this special opportunity is not to be missed!
