There is that other highway issue that the state currently has 5 times more needs on highway repair/upkeep right now then we have federal gasoline tax funds coming in so if we continue to not take care of the highways, maybe the state Highway Commission ought to take some of those state highways in those counties represented by the anti-tax folks and just remove them from the state road system and return them to the counties so their repair and upkeep.
