Goebel Music has been active for the last ten years in preaching, teaching, lecturing and writing. He works under the oversight of the elders of the Pearl Street Church of Christ in Denton, Texas. He had formerly worked as their local minister. Brother Music is very active in foreign mission work. He has gone into places like Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam, Burma, etc.

He is a popular speaker and writer. He has authored about 40 books and tracts. He has written two excellent books: Behold The Pattern (1991) and Easy-To-Read Version Or Easy-To-Mislead (1994).
