One mad canebrake rattlesnake!

As i was stepping over a log on Party Creek, Pleasant Plains, North Arkansas, this is what my foot would have landed on. This is my first rattlesnake encountered but i have caught numerous water moccasins(cottonmouths), copperheads, and most all other native arkansas snakes. I have been bitten once by copperhead on the finger and my arm swelled up all the way up to the shoulder and the side of my face for 6 weeks. Felt like my arm was being held in scalding hot water. Don't try this at home (unless Steve Irwin is your hero like he is mine). Many years of education, practice, and experience with catching and handling of non-venomous snakes is strongly recommended before attempting. Please rate and leave response.
