The Church of God

The Church of God in Trumann, AR is just one of many local Church of God's that are located throughout the world. In each of our local churches we bear the same name, adhere to the same Biblical teachings, operate within the same New Testament governmental principles as outlined in the scripture, have the same General Headquarters (located in Cleveland, TN)Our 1 mission is to fulfill the commission that Christ Jesus entrusted in our care when He organized The Church of God in A.D. 28 cf.. In fulfilling that commission we purpose to spread the GOOD NEWS of Jesus Christ throughout this world by every means available to us, to equip the born again believer with the spiritual armor needed to fight the good fight of faith, and to gather together all the children of God into Onefold in preparation for the return of Jesus Christ. We accept the King James Version (KJV) of the Bible as the inerrant, infallible, Holy Ghost inspired Word of God. Born again Christian believers join The Church of God by entering into a covenant relationship with the Lord and each other by accepting the following covenant: "Will you sincerely promise in the presence of God and these witnesses that you will accept this Bible as the Word of God-believe and practice its teachings rightly divided-the New Testament as your rule of faith and practice, government and discipline, and walk in the light to the best of your knowledge and ability?"
