Mission Statement:
The mission of Valley Union High School is to educate all of our students: Physically, intellectually, emotionally, and socially in a safe, caring, and stimulating environment.
Performance Goals:
1. All students will demonstrate a continuing improvement in their writing, reading, and mathematics skills throughout their high school years.
2. All students will meet or exceed state standards, as tested by AIMS, in reading, writing, and mathematics by the end of their senior year.
3. After graduation, the student needs to use the education from VUHS to be an active participant in the betterment of this community, state, and country.
Note: Students must achieve a 10th grade level in reading, writing, and mathematics to pass AIMS.
It is the expectation of all teachers and staff that each graduating senior at VUHS after four years of study will possess reading, writing, and math skills that will create opportunities for a successful life after high school.
