NAU Earth Day Celebration - Keeping It Fresh

Education meets celebration in these Earth Day festivities! NAU’s Earth Day 2010 will show the community - maybe even the nation - how invested the university is in sustainability efforts. The experience will feature tabling and presentations by NAU student groups, including Community Based Action Research Teams working on such issues as weatherization and energy efficiency, sustainable food systems, water security, and sustainable public space/design. This event will also highlight NAU's upcoming national recognition by the Princeton Review and the US Green Building Council and will include an awards ceremony to recognize sustainability leaders on campus.
