Among Arizona's oldest towns, Florence was founded in 1866 and became the Pinal County seat of government in 1875. The community is convenient to many natural and cultural attractions making it a great place to live and visit. Whether you are a visitor to Florence or reside in town, we encourage you to stop by the Florence Visitor Center for the most up to date information about the area. The visitor center is located in the 1889 Brunenkant City Bakery Building in the historic heart of Downtown Florence, at the corner of 8th & Bailey Streets. The Visitor Center is operated by the Florence Main Street Program, a private non-profit organization dedicated to downtown revitalization.
