Mercy Gilbert Medical Center Launches Reorganized Consumer Web Site

Mercy Gilbert Medical Center, a Dignity Health Member, has launched a reorganized consumer website. The revised layout includes several new interactive features making it easier for patients and visitors to navigate the site. Among these enhancements are the addition of a section dedicated to clinical trials, a condensed list of key medical services and an expanded press center section to highlight the hospital’s ongoing awards and recognition.
 
“The revised format is extremely user friendly, making it easier for our patients and their families to find what they’re looking for,” said Tim Bricker, president and CEO of Mercy Gilbert Medical Center. Bricker notes that the enhanced website provides information on everything from how to enroll in an open clinical trial to connecting with the hospital through social media.
 
If you will soon be a patient in our care, we’ve simplified our “Patients & Visitors” tab, making it easier for you to locate the information you’ll need to prepare for your hospital stay. And while visitors are still able to view a compressive list of the hospital’s services on the “Medical Services” landing page, we’ve shortened the navigation to reflect the most commonly searched services. We’ve also included a section dedicated to “Early Detection & Prevention,” allowing visitors to participate in a series of online health assessments to determine their risk of developing a disease, such as heart disease, and steps they can take to maintain health.
 
The website also boasts a newly added “Research” tab, allowing visitors, including patients, physicians and research sponsors, to search open clinical trials that are being conducted at our hospital and by affiliates of Dignity Health.  Additionally, we’ve created a section to highlight Dignity Health’s expanded continuum of care. For visitors looking for a more convenient location for vaccinations, imaging services and outpatient surgery, we’ve provided an overview of our partners throughout the Valley, including CVS/MinuteClinic, Life Line Screening, SimonMed Imaging, Inc., and United Surgical Partners International.
