MERCY GILBERT TO HOST MEDICINE REVIEW IN COMMEMORATION OF PHARMACY WEEK

To commemorate National Hospital and Health-System Pharmacy Week, Mercy Gilbert Medical Center, a member of Catholic Healthcare West, is offering residents a chance to have a pharmacist review their medications.

Hospital pharmacists will answer any questions, and will evaluate medications for indications, tips on administration, side effects and interactions. Pharmacists will encourage patients to discuss with their own physician any issues that are identified. This one-on-one time with the pharmacist will allow patients to ask questions about any medications they may be on, or those they are thinking of trying.

Participants should bring all medications they are currently taking, or a list of such medications.
