Glendale, AZ --- The Phoenix Coyotes announced On January 10, 2012 that for the first time ever, the Coyotes Charities Carnival will feature a goalie shootout event and an open skate on Jobing.com Arena ice.
The goalie shootout event will include Coyotes goaltenders Mike Smith and Jason LaBarbera along with former Coyotes goaltender and current Director of Player Development/Goaltending Coach Sean Burke. Smith and LaBarbera will be dressed in full equipment on the ice and will take shots from kids 12 years of age and under. Burke will also be dressed in goalie gear and will take shots from fans of any age. All participants will receive a “Shot on Goal” certificate.
Listed below is the Coyotes goaltender schedule for the Goalie Shootout event:- Mike Smith will be in net from 12:30 – 1:15 pm (kids 12 and under)
- Jason LaBarbera will net in net from 1:30 – 2:15 pm (kids 12 and under)
- Sean Burke will be in net from 2:30 – 3:30 pm (fans of any age)

The Coyotes also announced On January 10, 2012 that fans attending the Coyotes Carnival will have an opportunity to skate on the Jobing.com Arena ice from 12:30 – 3:30 p.m. Fans interested in skating will need to bring their own skates to the event. No rental skates will be available.
