Glendale Offers Free Energy - Saving Devices

GLENDALE, AZ---Make a resolution for an energy efficient home in 2012 – register for an energy class offered by the city of Glendale and receive free energy-saving devices to help reach that goal.

Get easy tips for saving energy at the classes that are offered over the next several months. Through a grant with the Department of Energy, Glendale’s Conservation and Sustainable Living Program provides education, as well as free devices, including a programmable thermostat, a high efficiency shower head and a four-pack of CFL bulbs. Glendale residency and pre-registration is required for the FREE device classes.

The upcoming classes include:

Thursday, January 26, 2012 at 6 p.m.
Foothills Branch Library, 19055 N. 57th Ave.. Glendale, AZ

Saturday, January 28, 2012 at 12:30 p.m.
Glendale Public Library, 5959 W. Brown St. Glendale, AZ

Tuesday, February 21, 2012 at 6 p.m.
Rose Lane Community Center, 51st Avenue and Marlette Avenue.

Saturday, March 3, 2012 at 12:30 p.m.
Glendale Public Library, 5959 W. Brown St. Glendale, AZ
