Keith Yandle Selected To The 2012 Tim Hortons NHL® All-Star Game

Glendale, AZ --- The National Hockey League today announced that defenseman Keith Yandle has been selected to participate in the 2012 Tim Hortons NHL All-Star Game, which will take place at Scotiabank Place in Ottawa, Ontario on Sunday, January 29.

The 6-foot-1, 190 pound Yandle has recorded 5-20-25 in 43 games this season to lead the Coyotes defense corps. The Boston, MA native is currently ninth overall in scoring among NHL defenseman.

The 25-year-old has registered 37-132-169 in 326 career games with the Coyotes. He currently owns the fifth-longest consecutive games played streak in franchise history (216). Over the past two seasons, Yandle has recorded 16-68-84. This will be his second consecutive appearance at the NHL All-Star Game. He will be the 41st All-Star in franchise history.

The 2012 NHL All-Star Weekend comes to Ottawa, Canada’s capital, Jan. 26 through Jan. 29. The festivities culminate with the 2012 Tim Hortons NHL ® All-Star Game on Sunday, Jan. 29 at Scotiabank Place. Live television coverage will be provided by CBC and RDS in Canada and the NBC Sports Network in the United States.
