Open to all family caregivers, this group is designed to provide training, ideas, tips and encouragement for anyone caring for an elderly family member. Sponsored by Visiting Angels Northwest Valley. What Is A Caregiver Support Group? An opportunity to learn from professionals and each other ways to handle the expected and unexpected challenges that arise when caring for a loved one. A safe place to ask questions, compare challenges and speak with others who understand what you are experiencing. All in an encouraging and confidential atmosphere. Who Should Attend? If you are responsible for the care of another person. If you are thinking about becoming the caregiver for another person. Anyone feeling overwhelmed, or challenged by the experience of caregiving. This is a FREE support group (no strings attached) provided as a community outreach.
