About The La Canoa Lions Club
The La Canoa Lions Club was created to reinforce the ideals of and community and service. La Canoa Lions Club encourages all its members to become involved in the Club's decision making, something that many other organizations actually discourage. Each member of La Canoa Lions Club is unique and offers individual qualities that deserve to be heard and respected.
We believe that men and women who live in a community are the ones in the best position to know who needs help and why. The Lions Club motto "We Serve", says it all!
La Canoa Lions Club encourages its members to take an active role in establishing the organization's short and long term goals. As a result, each opinion counts and every member is respected for his or her contributions. Members of the organization give their time and skills to support various Multiple District 21 projects such as Camp Tatiyee, and C. Kirby Smithe Youth Exchange as well as being involved throughout the year in Green Valley.
