10th Annual National Adoption Day

KINGMAN - Mohave County Courts will celebrate the 10th annual National Adoption Day in the Div. 5 courtroom at the historic court facility, 401 East Spring Street, in Kingman.

The Honorable Judge Richard Weiss will facilitate the event from 2 until 4 p.m.

Other participants will be CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates), CPS (Arizona Child Protective Services), dependency attorneys, adoptive parents and 20 foster children from Mohave County.

According to the National Adoption Day website, Saturday will be “a national day of celebration of adoptive families and an opportunity for courts to open their doors and finalize the adoptions of children from foster care.”

According to Nancy McBride, Mohave County CASA Coordinator, the public is invited and event programs will be distributed.
