What We Believe

1.About The Bible

The Bible is God’s word to all men. Human authors, under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit, wrote it. It is the supreme source of truth for Christian beliefs and living. Because God has inspired it,it is truth without any mixture of error.

2.About God

God is the Creator and Ruler of the universe. He has eternally existed in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. These three are co-equal and are one God.

3.About Man

Man is made in the spiritual image of God, to be like Him in character. He is the supreme object of God’s creation. Although man has tremendous potential for good, he is marred by an attitude of disobedience toward God called sin. This attitude separates man from God.

4.About Eternity

Man was created to exist forever. He will either exist eternally separated from God by sin, or in union with God through forgiveness and salvation. To be eternally separated from God is Hell. To be eternally in union with Him is eternal life. Heaven and Hell are places of eternal existence.

5.About Jesus Christ

Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He is co-equal with the Father. Jesus lived a sinless human life and offered Himself as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of all men by dying on a cross. He arose from the dead after three days to demonstrate His power over sin and death. He ascended to Heaven’s glory and will return again to earth to reign as King of Kings, and Lord of Lords.

6.About Salvation

Salvation is a gift from God to man. Man can never make up for his sin by self-improvement or good works. Only by trusting in Jesus Christ as God’s offer of forgiveness can man be saved from sin’s penalty. Eternal life begins the moment one receives Jesus Christ into his life by faith.

7.About Eternal Security

Because God gives man eternal life through Jesus Christ, the believer is secure in the salvation for eternity. Salvation is maintained by the grace and power of God, not by the self-effort of the Christian. It is the grace and keeping power of God that gives this security.

8.About The Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit is equal with the Father and the Son as God. He is present in the world to make men aware of their need for Jesus Christ. He also lives in every Christian from the moment of salvation. He provides the Christian with power for living, understanding of spiritual truth, and guidance in doing what is right. The Christian seeks to live under His control daily.

Core Values

Beliefs are not worth much unless they are translated into actions. Based on what the Bible teaches, we as a church are committed to exhibiting these traits in our lives, as individuals and as a church body.

A.Truth

We hold to the truth of God’s Word, the Bible, and we submit our lives to the instructions of His Word and the leading of His Spirit as the basis for all we believe.

B.Love

We will encourage, care for, and show genuine love to each other and our community.

C.Integrity

You can trust us, from the way we care for and teach your children to the way we manage the money you give.

D.Worship

We are on a journey to know God. Our worship will strive to lead seekers into His presence and to testify to His faithfulness.

E.Relevence

We believe God speaks to us today through His Word and His Spirit to guide us. We commit to teaching people how Jesus Christ can make a difference in their life today.

F.Service

We believe it is the privilege and responsibility of every believer to serve Jesus Christ and other people. We will encourage and assist all to discover and develop their gifts, abilities, and areas of passion for ministry.

G.Prayer

We believe God answers prayer. We will strive to be people of prayer, both individually and as a church, knowing that God hears us and promises to answer .

H.Giving

We believe that everything we have belongs to God and that we should diligently manage the resources he has given us. We recognize giving 10% of our income as a Biblical starting point of giving back to God out of gratitude and love.

I.Sharing

We believe that all christians are called to Share the good news of Christ’s love to those around them; in their home, at work, and in their network of relationships.

J.Authenticity

We will strive to be real and genuine.

Vision

-Is to be a place where hurting, discouraged, and lonely people will come and find love, acceptance, guidance, and encouragement.

-Is to be a church that reaches thousands of people in the West Valley of Phoenix with the good news of salvation through Jesus Christ.

-Is to be a church that changes the character of our community through the witness and testimony of our members bringing God’s truth to their neighbors.

-Is to be a church that helps families through the strengthening of marriages and training of parents to raise children who will reach their God-given potential.

-Is thousands of members growing together in spiritual maturity through Bible studies, worship, retreats, seminars, family activities, sporting events and fellowship.

-Is to see hundreds of lay people equipped for ministry and given the role of care and oversight to members of their small group.

-Is to send hundreds of church workers and career missionaries from our church to all regions of the world for short and long-term missionary service.

-Is to build a church campus that will be the center of activity for our community. We will build beautiful, yet efficient facilities, including a worship center seating thousands, a counseling and prayer center,classrooms for teaching and training, and family recreation facilities. Our campus will be lushly landscaped, with scenic settings for picnics, small group meetings, and personal retreat.
