6th Annual Earth Day Celebration: Earth is Life, Preserve It

Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community Environmental Protection & Natural Resources in partnership with the Cultural Resources Department Would like to invite Community Members and residents, Community Council, Community employees and the public to participate and attend the 6th Annual Earth Day Celebration.

Activities will include the following:

Roadway Cleanup.

Lehi Community Garden (composting demonstration, planting & maintenance).

Lehi Wetland (planting native vegetation and maintenance).

A-Frame (landscaping).

Art contest for students and seniors (for Community members only - entries due prior to the event).

Environmental Fair (with a recycled craft activity for seniors).

City of Tempe Education Recycling Information Center (ERIC) will also be on display.

Lunch will be served from 12:30 p.m to 1:30 p.m Promotional items and t-shirts will also be provided.
