What: The Bed Race is a community event And fundraiser in Tempe, Arizona. The event proves a community can come together, have fun, in this unique and hilarious fundraiser . When: Saturday, May 7 @ 10 a.m. Where: Tempe Marketplace 2000 E. Rio Salado Parkway Tempe, AZ 85281 Why: Raise funds to support Bridging AZ Racing: The race involves rolling beds down a 100-yard street by the stage area of Tempe Marketplace. Individuals, groups, businesses, organizations, and clubs sponsoring and racing on beds. Teams consist of four race-bed pushers and one in-bed rider all racing against the clock. Prizes are awarded for creativity, most money raised, and fastest time.
