Wild Arizona

As Arizona celebrates the State Centennial, The Phoenix Zoo is highlighting our Arizona Trail and Arizona animals.

Join us for animal encounters, feedings, and demonstrations as we celebrate and learn more about the Grand Canyon State and its animal species:

 - Meet an Arizona Animal Ambassador in the front plaza each hour, on the hour, between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m.
 - Play games and enjoy other educational activities hosted by the ZooTeens
 - Chat with keepers and our education staff at the following Arizona animal exhibits:
9:30 – Coati
10:30 – Javalina (Collared Peccary)
11:30 – Prairie Dogs
12:30 – Vultures
1:30 – Bighorn Sheep
2:30 – Mountain lion/bobcat
