The Citizens Water Advocacy Group (CWAG) has deep concerns that the demand for water exceeds the sustainable supply in the combined Upper Verde Watershed and the Prescott Active Management Area.
In recognition of the fact that water is a limited resource, CWAG's mission is to promote a sustainable water future in the Upper Verde River Basin and the Prescott Active Management Area.
We accomplish this mission by educating the public toward informed action and advocating for responsible governmental decision-making.
Founded in 2002, CWAG is a 501(c)3h with over 100 paid members. We host an educational program on the second Saturday of each month. To find out more about us and/or to sign up for our weekly calendar of water news and events, please go to our Web site: http://www.cwagaz.org.
