Experience A World of Discovery at Queen Creek's Passport To Discovery Festival

Discover Queen Creek's award-winning festival, Passport to Discovery! Combining art, culture, science and fun, Passport to Discovery offers families opportunities to enjoy an interactive Discovery Zone and Art adventures area, multi-cultural performances on the Cultural Rhythms Stage and craft and food vendors.

"Amazing Arizona," in honor of the state's centennial, will be featured at the 2012 festival. Performances, displays and cultural demonstrations will showcase Arizona's fascinating history and diversity.

The Discovery Zone is sure to excite and entertain with a reptile petting zoo from the Phoenix Herpetological Society! Have a close encounter with a 5' lizard, large tortoise, 6' alligator, a bearded dragon, ball python and a few other friends. The San Tan Historical Society and the ASU Astro Devils Astronomy Club, with their Lunar Orbiter Reconnaissance Camera, will also be there with hands-on and minds-on activities!

The Art Adventures area will spark creativity its Arizona-themed mural project activity. Children will also have an opportunity to make beautiful handmade paper flowers, play an African instrument and more! Multi-cultural performers will showcase and celebrate our state's diversity, providing entertainment throughout the day on the Cultural Rhythms Stage. And if that's not enough, other activities include a free rock wall, and free inflatable activities!

The Passport to Discovery Festival is presented by Mercy Gilbert Medical Center and sponsored by Salt River Project and Re/Max Property Shop.
