The Town of Queen Creek's
Horseshoe Park & Equestrian Centre now offers parking for recreational vehicles, including access to water and electricity hookups. The park offers events year-round with participants coming from across the country. RV accommodations are considered an industry standard for equestrian parks and also serve as a revenue source for the facility.
"The RV hookups were part of the original plan for the park and were included in the original capital budget," said Queen Creek Mayor
Gail Barney. "It took us a little longer than we expected to get them installed because of the economy, but we're excited to finally be able to offer them to our visitors!"
Forty RV spaces are available for competitors and participants of events held at Horseshoe Park, and are $25 per night. Showers and restroom facilities are also available at the park. The RV spaces have proven to be in great demand, with more than 30 spaces filled with participants gearing up for the
Arizona Cutting Horse Association event taking place at Horseshoe Park this week.
Horseshoe Park General Manager Tim Lynch said he very pleased that this amenity is now available since this is a common, consistent request from customers.
