Queen Creek's Horseshoe Park Honored By Women's Pro Rodeo Association

Queen Creek's Horseshoe Park & Equestrian Centre was recently recognized by the Women's Professional Rodeo Association for the 2011 Roots N' Boots Pro Rodeo. The Association awarded their 2011 Justin Best Footing Award in the Turquoise Circuit to the rodeo for the park's competition surface/flooring, known in the equestrian industry as footing.

The award recognizes the Roots N' Boots Rodeo Committee and Horseshoe Park staff who put forth the extra effort required to ensure the rodeo had the safest, most consistent ground conditions throughout the entire competition, creating a level playing field for the barrel racing competition.

The Roots N' Boots Pro Rodeo, hosted by the Friends of Horseshoe Park, is scheduled to take place in 2012 from March 30-April 1. For details about the event, visit http://friendsofhorseshoepark.org  .
