Covenant Community Church

Covenant Community Church started in late 1999 as a church plant of the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA). Billy Barnes and his family relocated from Briarwood Presbyterian Church in Birmingham, Alabama to start a new church in Scottsdale. After two years of steady growth, Covenant Community Church became a "particularized" official church in the PCA in November, 2002 when elders were elected by the congregation and Billy Barnes was installed as the pastor. In May 2003, deacons were installed.

We are a church that believes in the Great Commission to share God's love through His Son Jesus Christ, to a hurting world.

Our purpose: To glorify God and to enjoy Him forever.

Our vision: To bring the kingdom of God to bear in Scottsdale, the Valley, and around the world.

Our mission: Transforming lives through the Gospel to change the world.
